John Clementson was born in Cumbria, in the north of England, in 1959 and studied art at both the Cumbria College of Art and Wolverhampton Polytechnic. He has specialised in collage for over 20 years and now also teaches Illustration at Wolverhampton University. John has undertaken freelance commissions for clients in the UK, the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Singapore as well as illustrating children’s books that have been published in the UK, the USA, Canada, South Africa and South Korea.
